个人简介：
成都信息工程大学计算机学院教师，现任四川省数值天气计算工程技术研究中心副主任。主要研究方向为：进化算法与智能计算，物联网与边缘计算，高性能与并行分布式计算，网络安全。目前是四川省学术技术带头人后备人选，四川省计算机学会高性能专业委员会委员。
吴涛博士2014年毕业于西南交通大学，获得交通信息工程及控制专业博士学位，于2007年本科毕业于西南交通大学计算机科学与技术专业。
吴涛博士承担和参与包括国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金面上在内科研项目10余项，累计科研经费300余万元，发表学术论文40余篇，授权发明专利7项，实用新型专利3项，软件著作权10余项，参与研发的“超高速网络全流量采集及安全分析设备”，获得四川省科学技术进步二等奖（排名第一）。
吴涛博士积极从事教学改革，主持教育部产学合作协同育人项目1项，获批省级课程一流课程一项，省级思政示范课程1项；

1. 国家重点研发计划“多尺度全球大气数值模式物理过程和资料同化系统研究--多尺度大气模式的集成检验与评估”（2018YFC1507100）。
2. 国家重点研发计划“重大自然灾害监测预警与防范”重点专项，“基于非结构网格的天气-气候一体化模式动力框架研发”（2017YFC1502200）。
